Professional Background
- Rich Rokisky started RNR DESIGNS in 1993. Rich's background with two decades of technical, creative and field work for contractors & architectural product firms, as well as a B.S. degree from Kent State University and a Certificate of Proficiency in Architectural Drafting Technology prepared Rich well. Rich's background gives him an edge few designers possess.
- Rich maintains the status of a Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD). This certification is based on passing a 2-day exam, held by the National Council of Building Designer Certification, testing the candidate in a variety of residential design topics. Continuing education is required to maintain certification keeping Rich current on codes, best practices and new fields of interest. See NCBDC.com for homeowner benefits.
- Professional Building Designer member of AIBD (American Institute of Building Design) See AIBD, or Ohio AIBD. Rich has served as Secretary, Regional Representative, Executive Council member and Conference Chair for the Ohio Chapter of AIBD.
